But this piece so resonated for me! I've worked at Girl Scout Camps for 10 years, and being out there in woods has always been a major part of my make-up. Pun intended. Seeing other queer fat femmes out there hiking on their own terms, looking fabu, and living the results of the Girl Scout experience- makes my eyes tear. I now hate it. Don't get me wrong - I LOVE nature. Picnics, going to the National Parks, etc. I just hate the hiking. So you are ridiculously awesome (and adorable). b) Please tell single, nomadic Anna that she is incredibly welcome (as are you of course) to nomad her way over to Colorado...and I'd even go on a hike with her if she so desired ;) Sorry for my delayed response.

Anna only just got out of a 1.5 year thing in June and she's a bit of a nomad right now.
